Jeanna Nance, CTFA, CFP

Estate Planning Specialist

Jeanna Nance is more than an Estate Planning Specialist—she’s a seasoned professional with decades of experience in trust and estate administration, and a compassionate guide for clients navigating the estate planning process. Since joining Alan R. Harrison Law in 2025, Jeanna has worked closely with clients from initial intake through document completion, ensuring every step of their planning journey is handled with clarity, care, and attention to detail.

Jeanna brings over 23 years of experience as a trust officer, having worked for 14 years at Bank of Commerce and more than 9 years at Bank of Idaho. Throughout her career, she has administered a wide range of trusts and estates, including irrevocable trusts, special needs trusts, and self-directed retirement accounts. Her expertise also includes acting as a personal representative for estates and helping families navigate complex legal and financial matters with confidence.

At Alan R. Harrison Law, Jeanna supports clients by guiding them through the intake and information-gathering process, answering questions along the way, helping tailor each estate plan to individual needs, and assisting the attorney with drafting, reviewing, and finalizing legal documents—often proposing customized language to ensure every plan reflects the client’s unique goals.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University and is both a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), bringing a powerful combination of technical expertise and real-world insight to her role.

Originally from Firth, Idaho, Jeanna now lives in Idaho Falls with her husband, Tom. While she doesn’t have children of her own, she treasures her role as an aunt to 25 nieces and nephews—and is looking forward to becoming a great-aunt soon. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, watching movies, hiking, biking, and exploring new cuisines while traveling. She’s also an active member of the local Rotary Club, where she finds joy in serving the community and building connections.

Jeanna was introduced to the firm by her longtime colleague and current teammate, Tim Sopalski. She saw the position as a perfect fit—an opportunity to continue learning while applying her years of experience to help Idaho families prepare for the future. With her calm presence, deep knowledge, and dedication to service, Jeanna plays a key role in supporting both clients and the Alan R. Harrison Law team.
