Zoe J. Adams

Administrative Assistant & Automation Specialist

If there’s a better, easier, or more efficient way to do something, chances are Zoe is already trying to figure it out.

As the Administrative Assistant and Automation Specialist at Alan R. Harrison Law, Zoe supports the firm’s Estate Planning, Probate, and Guardianship practice areas while also helping shape the technology and systems that keep the office running. She has a knack for taking complicated processes, pulling them apart, and putting them back together in a way that makes more sense for both the team and the people they serve.

Before joining Alan R. Harrison Law in 2026, Zoe spent more than five years working as a Data Analyst for a medical laboratory. That experience gave her a strong background in technology, problem solving, and process improvement, along with a tendency to ask, “But couldn’t we make this easier?” Her own life experiences eventually drew her toward the legal field and work that gives her the opportunity to use those skills to help real people through important moments in their lives.

Guardianship is especially meaningful to Zoe. She enjoys helping families navigate situations that can feel unfamiliar and overwhelming and finding ways to make the process a little easier to understand. Whether she is working directly with a client, organizing a case, troubleshooting a technology problem, or building an automation behind the scenes, she cares about creating an experience where people feel supported and know what comes next.

Zoe earned her Associate of Science degree from Salt Lake Community College and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in English with an emphasis in Professional Writing through Southern New Hampshire University. A lifelong collector of interests, she also studied American Sign Language for three years and competed in ASL competitions throughout high school, earning first-place awards. She continues to use ASL when she can and has volunteered as an interpreter for virtual performances and events.

Originally from Utah, Zoe now calls Idaho Falls home, along with her two dogs and cat. Outside the office, she is happiest when she can get outdoors, especially with a disc golf bag in tow. She also loves crocheting, reading, writing, gaming, and periodically discovering a new hobby that absolutely, definitely needs to become part of her personality for the foreseeable future. She even runs a small crochet business, because apparently having just one creative outlet would be far too simple.

What Zoe enjoys most about her work at Alan R. Harrison Law is that no two parts of her job are quite the same. On any given day, she might be helping a family, working through a guardianship matter, designing a new workflow, solving a technology problem, or finding a way to eliminate twelve unnecessary clicks from someone’s day. It’s the combination of people, creativity, technology, and problem solving that makes the work meaningful to her, and she’s always looking for ways to make things work a little better than they did yesterday.
